The candidate chosen will primarily be responsible for analyzing business requirements and defining functional specifications specific to the Actimize platform. The candidate will translate and communicate the analysis and specifications to the developers for them to implement. Last but not least, the verification and testing of the system against the requirements will also be a key part of the role.

The candidate will work very closely with key technology teams, business representatives, project managers and vendors to execute tasks related to Financial Crimes

Partner with business analysts on the Financial Crime team to understand requirements, source systems, and perform data and requirements analysis.
Interact closely with end users and stakeholders to understand their business needs and to articulate the capabilities of the system.
Be responsible for the functional design of the system.
Perform detailed analysis of legacy and other upstream systems.
Assist in the creation and execution of functional tests and QA plans.
Work with internal development and testing teams for the timely resolution of defects.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree
8
years in an IT department with at least 3 years of experience in the position offered
3
years experience in requirements gathering, business and/or data analysis
2
years experience in working with the Actimize AIS and RCM platforms
2
years experience in test planning and execution
2
years experience in writing SQL
Preferred
Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Compliance / Financial Crime domain will be a strong advantage.
Experience in system implementation.
Experience of working on large, cross-functional and complex projects.
Experience in working on customer-facing technologies.
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining programs for migration and/or conversion activities.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
Ability to identify issues and risks with projects which may impact delivery timelines; and cognizance to escalate issues with vendors/management as required.
Able to multi-task and prioritize a demanding and varied workload.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extremely organized, excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in documenting system architectures and workflows.
Highly self-motivated with a confident do the right thing attitude.
Excellent attention to detail, self-starter with demonstrable initiative.
Team player, co-operative, and able to work in a large team across multiple locations and time zones.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
