The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our team to design and develop solutions to reduce manual processing, streamline data processing and improve management information reporting. The candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of core Java, object-oriented analysis and design, web services and database design. Candidate is expected to possess skills required to work with a global development team.
Highly skilled team member will leverage enterprise development skills within a self-directed and self-organizing team to deliver high quality, robust technical solutions on applications supporting up to several thousand users. Must be able to communicate with and mentor less knowledgeable (but capable), local or remote team members and assist in developing their skills to benefit the wider team.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
7
years experience with J2EE - design and develop using Java Server stack.
5
years experience working with object relational mapping tools such as Hibernate
5
years hands on experience with Spring Framework Spring MVC / JDBC / ORM / Transaction / Caching
5
years hands on experience with building RESTful services using Spring Controller
7
years experience with Spring/Hibernate: design and develop J2ee application using these
5
years experience in database design and develop using SQL Server 2005/2008
5
years working knowledge of J2EE application servers using Tomcat/Jboss
4
years experience with JavaScript libraries like JQuery/Ext JS
Preferred
Qualifications:
Drools and/or JBPM strongly preferred
Front-end web design experience using CSS and HTML.
Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) - Implemented start-to-deployment solutions.
Good understanding of design patterns.
JUnit - able to follow continuous integration, test driven development approach using JUnit and Cruise Control
Ant/Maven - able to develop and run build scripts using Ant. Maven would be an advantage.
Working knowledge of Coherence Grid Caching
Packaging and Managing release process for entitlements.
Linux - Create and maintain shell scripts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
