Looking for an Editor with extensive pharmaceutical experience and strong knowledge of AMA Manual of Style. The Editor must have
Experience:
Editing copy for grammar, style, and general readability (following AMA and corporate/brand guidelines) and checking for spelling errors and typos
Fact-checking complex medical text
Proofreading
Reviewing jobs multiple times through all stages: manuscript, layout, mechanical, and printer proofs
Annotating project layouts and references for FDA submission using Acrobat, Word, and/or other software
Developing and maintaining client style guides
Attending team status meetings and managing the editorial workload for your clients, anticipating when additional support and resources are needed to meet deadlines
Tracking and recording time for daily timesheets
Assisting fellow editors with their projects when your workload allows
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in English, journalism, or related field
Strong knowledge of AMA Manual of Style
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and Web-based resources
Familiarity with the concepts and language of statistics
Very strong organizational and time-management skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
