JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Quality Analyst, Risk Platform in Whippany, New Jersey. Execute analysis, improvements and implementations of solutions to the North American (NA) Intra-Day Risk Platform. Perform client on-boarding, handling existing and new client setups on the NA Intra-Day Risk Platform. Test the NA Intra-Day Risk Platform, validating that it is working as expected. For the NA Intra-Day Risk Platform, utilize MIS application, Pyxis Integration and Reconciliation Projects. Validate the Management Information System Application, testing and confirming the MIS application meets the Risk teams requirements. Assist with requirements for new projects. Create test plans, test cases, test scenarios and traceability matrices. Execute test cases and log defects. Work with Electronic Client Solution users and Risk business users. Conduct weekly status meetings and bug triage meetings. Validate and test Risk Platform such that it is working as expected. Validate all development efforts. Other technology tools utilized include, Quality Centre, Toad, Excel, SQL and UNIX. Assist other QA team members with their efforts. This position involves no direct supervision and all QA team members report to the Executive Director. Specific Requirements Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, followed by 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a computer systems analysis or quality analysis-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1.hands on experience in SQL, writing complex queries, and DB performance validation; 2. applying understanding of intra-day risk as it applies in equity and equity-option trading to build and maintain a risk trading platform; 3. creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios and traceability matrices documents for QA process; 4. executing test cases and logging defects using Quality Centre; 5. completing the entire SDLC Process cycle for Software Development and using STLC for software testing; 6. working in ETL and batch processing jobs; and 7. hands on experience on Creating Automation Testing scripts and Unix shell scripting.
