9K a year Winston Preparatory School, an independent school for students with specific learning disabilities grades 3rd - 12th, is in search of a passionate teacher or specialist for elementary-aged students.
All candidates must have at least 2 years of classroom experience and a strong understanding of how to create and deliver dynamic lessons that inspire a love for literacy in children with learning differences while effectively teaching reading and writing skills.
Strong classroom management skills are essential, along with an ability to cultivate a positive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
We are looking for someone with strong communication, writing and problem solving skills.
Further, the ideal candidate is a collaborative team player, open to teaching in the classroom and a 1:
1 Focus remediation session, and has a desire to learn and grow professionally.
Candidates may include:
General Ed teachers, Special Ed teachers, Reading Specialists, Learning Specialists, and SLPs.
