Looking for motivated individuals for art handling and packing.
Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
Experience with tools/woodshop is preferred, but not required.
Position consists mainly of condition checking art work for any damages and safely packing them for transportation and storage.
It will also include assisting in photoshoots, repairs, and participating in general warehouse tasks.
Key Qualifications & Skills Detail oriented Outstanding communication (both spoken & written) and multitasking skills Ability to work efficiently while prioritizing safety and adhering to deadlines Knowledge of art and mediums Proper handling of art objects Basic knowledge of power tools Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight, on a daily basis, without damage to objects or personnel Ability to push and pull 150
pounds on a dolly or pallet jacket The hours are flexible --our shop is open from 6am until 5pm M-F.
Most of our staff works between 7am-3:
30pm, but alternate hours can be arranged if needed.
Although this is an hourly position, it may lead to full time work with the right addition to our team.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
