Occupational Therapist - Part-Time

The Calais School is a state approved, highly therapeutic special education school for students in grades K through 12 Plus with multiple learning disabilities as well as anxiety, mood, behavior and autism spectrum disorders.
We are currently looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist to work with our students.
Responsibilities include:
Providing occupational therapy services to students as defined in the student's IEP.
Review and maintain files for students receiving occupational therapy services, and directly communicate to The Calais School case manager regarding the student's IEP requirements and/or required status reports.
Assist in the research, development and implementation of the Occupational Therapy program to ensure the highest level of therapy.
Monitor the work of contracted occupational therapists.
Screen occupational therapy skills for students upon the written referral of faculty, and will refer students through the case manager for needed services.
Supervise the Occupational Therapy programs.
Monitor progress of students receiving occupational therapy services, including periodic observations in the classroom.
Serve as a resource person at The Calais School.
Provide in-service workshops for school staff when necessary as part of the school Professional Staff Development Program, or as an information meeting on concepts and techniques.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
