The Client Care Coordinator is much more than just a receptionist.
Our coordinators provide the first impression of the hospital to clients and patients.
They must be warm, friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and capable of handling many tasks at once with many interruptions.
Our Client Care Coordinators are responsible for educating our clients, marketing our products and services, and supporting our doctors and technicians by fielding calls, questions, and refills when possible.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Greeting clients and patients in a warm, friendly mannerHandling voice mail messages and telephone calls promptly and professionally, and taking detailed, accurate messages and /or correctly redirecting callsBecoming familiar with and able to use the hospital's computer software (Avimark)Becoming familiar with and able to use the hospital's online store (VetSource) and our websiteScheduling appointments appropriately including boarding stays and surgeriesNotifying technicians when patients arrivePreparing paperwork for estimates and consent formsMaintaining medical records, ensuring that all charges are accurately recordedUpdating client informationPrinting of medication labels and accurately explaining them to clientsPromoting and discussing flea/tick/heartworm preventativesDispensing pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, prescription food and over the counter suppliesMailing thank you and welcome cardsPerforming daily light cleaning of the waiting and reception areasChecking clients out and processing payment Being familiar with all payment plans offered Checking emails as well as our hospital's app promptly for client communication Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment with a high frequency of patients, calls, and messages Reconciling invoices and performing close-outs at end of dayThis position is for 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week, including 2 Saturdays per month.
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS MANDATORY Must be 18 years of age or older.

Hours are subject to change according to doctor schedules and appointments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
