JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for an Application Developer in Whippany, NJ. Perform application development, including design and implementation of requirements for new and existing applications. Maintain the existing application stack including troubleshooting any issues which occur, and implementing changes requested by the business. Manage projects including delivery timelines, coordinating with team members on their efforts and working with operate to schedule releases. Work with and coordinate efforts with other team members across the JPM organization. Work with 3rd party vendors on our requirements. Provide specifications and ensure that vendors deliver changes in a timely manner for projects: MIS Reporting Suite, Automated Risk Limits, I-Flagging, Reconciliation, PYXIS Integration, etc. Utilize the following technologies: Java, QuickFixJ, SQL, Spring, Weblogic, Toad, Eclipse, Object Oriented programming. Specific Requirements Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in an application development-related occupation. Employer will accept education evaluation prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service. Experience must include: 1. Java/J2EE server side programming using multithreading, Spring, XML and JUNIT Testing; 2. development and deployment using J2EE Application Server in Linux Operating system; 3. Enterprise JAVA JMS Message, Maven and autosys tool; 4. Object Oriented Programming; 5. supporting financial application for Equity/Option risk calculations; 6. Third Party vendor management and application integration skills; and 7. release coordination and application production support.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
